Our Jr. Webelos Den Leader is Thor "Van" Van Auken.
Boys in the 4th and 5th grade are being prepared for Boy Scouts through the Webelos program. These Scouts will participate in more camp outs and other outdoor activities. The Webelos work on Activity badges which give them a taste of the Boy Scout Merit badge program.
First year Webelos are called Jr. Webelos, in this year the boys earn their Webelos rank badge in preparation for their Arrow of Light year. This is done through a series of Activity Badges which are achieved through a series of achievements. The boys are encouraged to think and act as scouts more on their own with less parent involvement.
